| Just for fun I took several "self portraits". There was so much sunlight and so many reflective windows that it was easy to find real possibilities. In each case, following something I saw done in last year's walk in Jackson, MI, I tried to compose the photo and then look up to show my face. If you look carefully you can see that I've rotated my viewfinder 90 degrees so I could look directly down into the camera to compose. This made it much easier to compose and then look up, since I didn't need to move the camera. Of course, I still have many examples of ruining my composition while looking up (it's hard not to move the camera a bit). Still, this is better than self portraits showing me looking into the camera.
