3 August 2015 - Photo Walk at Ingham County Fair in Mason |
3 August 2015 - Photo Walk at Ingham County Fair in Mason The Ingham County Fair is always an interesting event. I often ride my trike through the fairgrounds as there is plenty of room to ride around and little traffic, so it is a safe place to ride. During a fair, though,it is a center of activity crowded with people and entry is limited to ticket holders. The fair really reflects the interests of this area. There are many 4H displays, and quite a few photos below show a good sample. There are also many animals, displays representing craft and home skills, such as cooked items, photography, sewing, homemade cloths, etc. I entered the cooked items competition with cakeballs and fudge. I'm sorry in my two visits that the chickens were not available to view ... probably being judged or something like that. Click on any photo to see a larger version in a popup window. |
Following photos taken with the Olympus OM-D E-M1 micro four thirds camera. Most photos were taken with the Olympus 12-40/2.8 lens. A few photos were taken with the Rokinon 7.5/3.5 fisheye lens (manual focus). All photos are JPEGs straight from the camera with moderate sharpening during the resizing process. |
