Michigan Steam Engine and Threshers Club Show
I have noticed the signs in town each year for the Michigan Steam Engine & Treshers Club event. I have driven by while after shopping at the nearby Merindorf store on Barnes Road, purveyor of fine meats. But I have never gone to the show before. This year my wife and I checked out this interesting sounding event and had a good time. Not only is there a big display of this old equipment with a number of instructive demonstrations of the equpment in action, but there was food and a flea market.
Below are a number of photos of what we saw. It was a unique way to spend the afternoon, and it was only a few miles from home.
