Spring weather has finally come to Mason after continued cold temperatures. Things were perfect for the Friday night 5K race and the nice weather was still here for Spring Fling. Though worn out from the race I headed off on the four block walk to the square around the Ingham County Courthouse. The first pictures below are a shot from distance of the booths around the courthouse and my favorite booth each year of the church ladies with your spread of goodies. I always bring a big bag so I can take home a big haul without damaging the brownies, etc.
I also purchased a large cutting board (made with Michigan hardwoods) for the kitchen and some hot pads. I carried this separately from the goodies ... to protect my precious cargo. There was a big turnout, probably due to the excellent weather.
